* I'm tired of seeing people flush themselves down the toilet by filling their lives only with drugs and alcohol. People with real potential, with real ideals and a real will to resist and to make a chance. In the punk scene, we don't call these problems "alcoholism" or "drug addiction", we tend to define them as a part of "being punk". And that, at least to me, is fucked up.
We all need a break from life every once and a while, just to get away from it all, and most of the people, including us, choose the easy way out by taking a drug of some sort. But when the drugs consume you, when you are high, drunk or hungover most of your time, the drugs stop serving that function and start taking control of your life.

* A song about depression, about those black moments, those moments when you are unable to breathe because of the anxiety and the pain of being alive. Depression touches most of us, since we all at least know someone who has suffered from it if we haven't gone trough it ourselves. It is our responsibility to take care of one another, we only have each other.
